OrderBy Pit Master Larry Mondello. The self-taught Long Island native had developed an interest in barbecue done the traditional American way: low and slow. From 2012 into late 2015 was his trial period where he immersed himself his craft; reading every book and article he could find and watching every show and YouTube tutorial from pit masters all across the United States.
I believe I have sampled everything on the menu, and it's all very good, though I do have my favorites. I really enjoy the brisket, and the ribs are fantastic. The mac & cheese is good, as are the wings. Really, you can't go wrong with anything here. They are true BBQ aficionados at Meat's Meat!
Stopped in today and got this MASSIVE pulled pork sandwich with a side of rib nuggets. I'm a pulled pork fanatic and this sandwich was one of the best. Big, juicy, smokey, and a nice sweet pickle inside which complemented the pork very well. If your in the area 10/10 you have to try
I didnt catch the owners name but we sat down and ate and spoke with him, this man truly cares about his BBQ and the time he spends on it truly shows. Everything was amazing down to the sides also. Ribs fall off the bone, but that ruben sandwhich was to die for!
Best BBQ I have had in NY. The experience starts before you walk through the door with that real wood smoke hanging in the air. Brisket sandwich was nicely stacked and the meat was smoked to perfection. Unless you really really like spicy food, I recommend ordering the mild version...
